LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – All lanes of I-264 East just west of I-64 are closed on Thursday, October 31 due to a serious crash, according to a social media post from Louisville Metro Emergency Services.

The accident occurred near the 18 kilometer mark.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Officers responded to the crash around 4:30 p.m. and discovered a driver had lost control of his car, struck two other vehicles and then rolled over, LMPD spokesman John Bradley said.

Police determined that the driver of the car that rolled over died from a bullet. The health condition of the other drivers involved in the accident is not yet known.

Bradley said traffic in the area will be affected while LMPD investigates the shooting and crash.
