CORTEZ, Fla. (WWSB) – A beloved local restaurant has reopened its doors after sustaining damage during Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Star Fish Company Market and Restaurant reopened its doors at 11:30 a.m. after repairing damage to its property in recent weeks. The owner’s house was also damaged in the storm.

Milton damaged the restaurant’s scaffolding and roof.

The beloved Cortez staple found some temporary fixes and is back on. The fish market reopened at 10am
