SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A formerly popular Sarasota movie theater will close its doors for good today.

It has been confirmed that AMC Sarasota 12 will cease operations at the end of the business day today (Oct. 31).

This information comes directly from AMC.

“AMC regularly reviews theaters in our circuit as well as opportunities outside our circuit and makes decisions based on what will best strengthen the Company going forward. “We thank our Sarasota 12 guests for their patronage and encourage them to continue enjoying the AMC experience at AMC Bradenton 20.”
