Tiffany Stratton Remains Reticent About WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Plans

Tiffany Stratton hesitated to reveal her plans for the “Crown Jewel” event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, but did confirm one small detail.

“Of course I would like it to be a surprise, but I can say that I will be in Saudi Arabia,” Stratton said. SI Takedown in a private chat.

Stratton, one of WWE’s fastest-rising Superstars since being called up to the main roster in February and the current Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder, is seen in the corner. WWE Women’s ChampionNia Jax running with her briefcase. It is speculated that she will be with or near Jax during her match against WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan for the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Stratton had previously teased cashing in on Jax in recent weeks, but found himself caught up in the love triangle drama brewing between him and Morgan. Rhea Ripleyand Dominik Mysterio looming over the potential to cash in on Morgan instead. Still, he remains tight-lipped about his plans.

“I will have some pretty new equipment. I’ll be backstage. “I’ll be cheering for Nia Jax and that’s all I have to say.”

Stratton and his character work have made him one of the most formidable names on the SmackDown roster. It reflected his rapid rise.

“He’s been so amazing since he got called up. I was definitely a little nervous. I felt a lot of pressure because I wasn’t invited with anyone. There wasn’t actually a group of girls I was invited to. It was a brand new beginning. Like I said, it was frustrating. But as television continued, as in Australia, I gained confidence. The crowd and the fans really gave me confidence. I definitely feel like I’ve grown a lot this past year. “I feel like I’ve grown more in the eight months since I was called up than I did in the two years I spent in NXT.”

WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley has previously talked about how when a crowd gives you a loud, unexpected, positive response, you momentarily lose your composure and have an out-of-body experience. While Bubba Ray specifically stated that his return to the 2015 Royal Rumble was that moment for him, he also touched on Edge’s return at the 2020 Royal Rumble and his visible reaction to the crowd’s response.

To the surprise of many, including himself, he was the fan favorite in Australia in this year’s “Elimination Chamber” match. When asked if Stratton had ever had an experience similar to the one described by Bubba Ray Dudley while in Australia, he admitted that he was surprised by the crowd’s reaction.

“That definitely happened to me. I think there’s even a video of me saying, ‘What the hell?’ And I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll move on from there.'” But there was definitely a moment at the press conference before Australia where Triple H I remember she just said my name, or I think Bianca (Belair) said my name and the crowd started chanting ‘Tiffy Time’ I said ‘Okay, that’s great’ and then I heard the chant ‘Tiffy Time’ in the little cage, it was… That. I never expected they would even know who I was.

Stratton seems confident in his approach these days. An impressive performer in the ring, Stratton was trained by Greg Gagne before joining NXT and credits him with giving him the best possible advice.

“He always told me to be a sponge, listen to anyone who gives you advice and coaches you, and if you think it applies to you, use it and apply it. But he always taught me to be respectful and be super coachable, he’s also the biggest. Just being trainable. I think that helps a lot.”

Stratton’s recent teammate, Rhea Ripley, sparked a slew of memes, replies, and other comments regarding their side-by-side appearance, likening it to Wednesday Addams and Alicia Silverstone’s character. Uninformed, Cher Horowitz. Stratton agreed with this example, but said that unfortunately, and to the chagrin of the admiring X (formerly Twitter) public, he wasn’t sure if this pairing would continue.

“I have no idea but I would love to see this happen again. I think we have a great dynamic. It’s totally different and I think people love the idea too. I see all the (X) memes from people. I hope they do something for me and Rhea again. I think this is so fun, so much fun “I think it will be cool and a very different dynamic.”

Stratton declined to elaborate on her plans for “Crown Jewel,” but when asked about her next plans and specifically about an opponent, Charlotte Flair, Stratton seemed willing to jump at the opportunity to face the Queen at WrestleMania 41.

“I can totally, totally see that. I would love to see that happen, and I hope it does. Whether it’s this Frenzy or the next Frenzy, I’d love to see that happen. So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I think it’ll be back soon. I’m not even sure where it is, so we’ll just have to wait and see.” “We’ll have to see.”

WWE’s “Crown Jewel” will take place on Saturday, November 2nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a special start time of 1pm ET/10pm PT. Check your local listings for specific start times in your area.
