“This is for the world, this isn’t just for the United States,” Donna said, tears streaming down her face. “Of course I care about myself and my family and our future, but I also care about this country… We must take it back and return it to a place of joy, hope and freedom.” He recently traveled to Norway, where he saw the Kiev Orchestra perform a moving piece inspired by the conductor’s war experience.
