A few minutes later, Fabian tried to call Andre, but Andre did not answer.

At 2.44pm, four minutes after calling 000 to report her mother had died in the shower, she sent the message: “C*** reply please my mother is dead.”

“Please come here.

“Please Andre.

“!!

“C***.”

Fabian eventually reached his brother and broke the news of his mother’s passing, but Monique sent a series of messages to her twin, not realizing they had already spoken.

“Did you answer Fabian’s calls? RIG RIG (sp) NOW TO THE MOMS NOW (sic),” Monique wrote.

“NOW.

“NOW.”

A few minutes later Andre said he was on his way.

The jury was also shown a series of missed calls and messages made to Andre on the morning of his mother’s death from his then-girlfriend, Instagram model Grace Piscopo.

The court heard Piscopo made six calls to her boyfriend between 11.10am and 11.15am, which went unanswered.

He then sent her two angry text messages that read, “AND YOUR DAMN PHONE (sic)” and “WHERE ARE YOU (sic).”

He then made seven more calls to his phone between 11.17 and 11.25, which went unanswered.

He then asked “What’s your problem?” he sent a series of text messages asking. and says, “I’m angry at you, I’m so angry.”

“Answer me for the fuck’s sake,” he texted.

A few minutes later, call records show Piscopo called her again and she answered.

The State says these searches were made while Mr Rebelo was at his mother’s home in Bicton, allegedly giving him enough time to kill her and put her body in the shower to make it look like she had suffered a medical crisis.
