The Little Mermaid Star Halle Bailey got into the Halloween spirit this week with a dazzling costume that paid homage to her twin sister. Halle Berry. And needless to say, the 24-year-old wears it well.

Bailey gave fans a peek at her costume in an Instagram post on Wednesday afternoon; In this post, she wore a tiny orange bikini and a bladed utility belt to dress up as Berry in her iconic 2002 role. James Bond film, Die Another Day. In the film, Berry played Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson, an NSA agent and “Bond girl” involved with Pierce Brosnan’s main character.

But it could be argued that Bailey’s outfit is even tighter than her role model, as you can see in the side-by-side images added alongside images of Berry’s character. “Halleween 2024,” Bailey cheekily captioned the post alongside a heart emoji and a smiling face with a jack-o’-lantern.

Berry in her name paid tribute to one of his own roles This year’s costume dresses her as a sexy witch with a lively cat backing, in homage to the 2004 superhero movie cat woman.

But despite the similar names and contrary to popular misconception, Bailey and Berry have no relation to each other, as the young star explained during her appearance on the show. Live with Kelly and Mark last year.

“My family, we’ve always loved Halle Berry. I mean, she’s amazing,” Bailey said at the time. Peoplewhen asked if his parents “thought” of the similarity when naming him. “And they actually wanted to name me Hailey when I was a baby, but my last name is Bailey, so that wouldn’t have worked.”

“And they finally decided on Halle, and she’s a lot like Halle Berry. But for her to be this cool, there’s no one else I’d rather have a similar name,” she added.

It’s clear that the well of admiration certainly continues to deepen.
