In the press release made by the Ministry of Public Works on Wednesday, following the meeting attended by ministers, deputy undersecretaries, heads of departments and representatives from both ministries, Minister Al-Mashaan emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality in road transportation. projects. This collaboration comes as contracts for asphalt treatments worth approximately KD 400 million (approximately USD 1.3 billion) are about to commence.

Minister Al-Mashaan stated that expediting licenses and transactions as soon as possible will allow these companies to carry out the necessary maintenance works effectively, and called on the Kuwait Municipality to accelerate the procedures for companies that receive these maintenance contracts.

He praised the role of Kuwait Municipality in improving the quality of services through effective communication, coordination and follow-up with relevant government agencies, promoting the spirit of cooperation and collaboration among ministries.

According to the statement, Minister Al-Mishari emphasized that at the meeting, proposals were discussed to support the projects of the Ministry of Public Works and the Municipality in various sectors and to facilitate services, all of which are in the public interest.
