OGDEN — A large field fire near Ogden has closed U.S. 150 and affected traffic on Interstate 74, which borders Champaign and Vermilion counties.

Multiple agencies are on scene on a day when the National Weather Service in Lincoln issued a red flag warning for wind and low relative humidity.

The warning will be in effect for McLean, De Witt, Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion, Douglas and Edgar counties from 1 to 7 p.m.

A crash was reported on I-74 as the fire spread to fields on the north side of the interstate, aided by strong winds.
