NFL Week 9 Survivors Pool Picks (Bengals Lead Over Raiders in This Week’s Predictions)

It’s nearly the midway point of the NFL season, and Survivor Pool players have likely seen most of their pitches fall in the first eight weeks.

If you are still alive – let’s go! That’s an impressive feat in a season that featured tons of upsets in its first few weeks.

As we enter Week 9, the SI Betting team is back with two predictions for Week 9 for those looking for Survivor advice.

But first, let’s recap his Week 8 performance.

After another 2-0 week, things get a little tougher in Week 9 as we may not be able to beat the Carolina Panthers against the New Orleans Saints, who have lost six straight games.

That’s where the SI Betting team leans in this week.

Cincinnati Bengals

If you haven’t used the Cincinnati Bengals yet and you probably haven’t if you’re still alive, this might be the week to support Joe Burrow and friends.

Cincy is a 7.5-point home favorite in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have lost four straight games.

Gardner Minshew and the Las Vegas offense have failed to make any headway as of late, and they lead the NFL in turnovers so far in 2024.

This bodes well for the Bengals, who are coming off a tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. Cincy (3-5) desperately needs a win to get back into the playoff mix and needs to dominate the Raiders defense. He has the fourth-most points in the NFL this season.

This is one of the few places I’d consider using them for the rest of 2024, as it’s impossible to trust the Bengals against most opponents. -Peter Dewey

If you’re still alive in your pool of survivors, there’s a good chance you can still use the Bengals because if you had used them earlier in the season when they were heavy favorites, you’d probably be eliminated.

They are currently at home as favorites to the Raiders and I would be shocked if they allow another upset.

The Raiders enter this game ranked last in the NFL in EPA per game, even worse than the Carolina Panthers.

With Davante Adams now on the Jets, they have almost no offensive weapons to use and their running game is one of the worst I’ve seen in years. There’s no way you can keep up with the Bengals offense, which remains one of the NFL’s best.
