A Saratoga Springs man is accused of breaking into a restaurant and stealing money.

State Police say 57-year-old David Gregson broke into a building on Maple Avenue in Greenfield just after 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 and damaged the structure. He took the money and left.

Police found him a few hours later in Saratoga Springs.

Gregson was charged with theft and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Wilton City Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
