DAVIS COUNTY, Utah — The Davis County Sheriff’s Office says they have canceled their search for K9 officer “Kash” who escaped about a week ago.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, they will continue to follow leads and post their information on social media, but “We have exhausted all ground and air searches. We have investigated every lead.”

The Sheriff’s Office suggests Kash may have been in the possession of someone who didn’t realize he was the missing police K9.

Kash was outside the Davis County Sheriff’s building. took off He headed west towards the tracks and has been missing ever since.
