Arapahoe deputies seek armed, dangerous suspect in Centennial jewelry store robbery

DENVER (KDVR) – Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies They were looking for a man who allegedly robbed a jewelry store. Monday afternoon.

Law enforcement officials say they need the public’s help finding the male suspect who robbed the Rocky Mountain Specialty Jewelry and Loan store in Centennial on Monday around 4 p.m. Deputies say the man entered the store, threatened an employee, stole jewelry and then fled on foot.

As of 17:37, deputies established a perimeter and began searching the area with K-9 units and unmanned aerial vehicles. The suspect was last seen running west in the 7400 block of East Arapahoe Road at South Quebec Street.

Law enforcement described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his early 20s with a slim build. Deputies said he had dark brown or black hair, was wearing a black baseball cap, blue jacket, red pants with white stripes down the sides and a face mask with a white print.

Deputies also noted that he had a tattoo under his right ear.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect was armed and dangerous. Anyone who recognizes or sees the suspect is asked to call 911 immediately.
