A professional photographer died in a horrific accident when he fell back into the propeller of a plane while taking photos at Kanas airport.

Amanda Gallagher, 37, was taking photos of people boarding and disembarking planes at the Air Capital Drop Zone in suburban Wichita on Saturday afternoon when she accidentally hit an active propeller. KAKE News reported.

The source said the paratrooper was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition but died from his injuries.

Gallagher had a photography company called AG Photography, where he exhibited photographs he took at the Air Capital Drop Zone in Derby, Wichita’s largest suburb, as well as photographs of his travels.

He died while “doing what he loved: skydiving and taking photographs,” according to a fundraiser that had raised more than $6,000 as of Monday morning.

Her family remembered her at the fundraiser as “kind, adventurous, creative and beautiful inside and out.”

Cook Airfield expressed its condolences to Gallagher’s family in a statement shared on Facebook.

“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the young lady who lost her life following the tragic accident caused by a plane propeller at Cook Airport,” the statement said.

The author added: “I wasn’t there when it happened, so I won’t speculate on what could or should have been different. Please keep his family, friends, and Air Capital Drop Zone family in your prayers and thoughts.”
